The reasons just keep coming…
The reasons to NOT use Microsoft’s Internet just keep piling up. In the last few weeks they’ve issued at least 4 patches to critical vulnerabilities with their OS and tightly integrated web browser Internet Explorer.
The vulnerabilities can now be “injected” from web pages…that’s scary folks. Everyone knows not to click on e-mail attachments that have come from unknown sources, but now you can be redirected to an infected web site and these keystroke stealing trojans can be downloaded to your computer without you even knowing about it. Even Microsoft is bailing on IE. This is a great article. And it endorses Firefox which I’ve touted on these pages before.
